Mark Mullins

Operating Partner

Mark is a seasoned executive and serial entrepreneur with more than 40 years of experience driving revenue growth through high-impact sales, marketing, and business strategy. He works with Next Coast Legacy portfolio executives to accelerate growth, sharpen sales execution, and create long-term value in complex, fast-growing companies.

In 1991, Mark sold his first company, American Park Network, to Fortune 500 media company Meredith Corporation (now part of Barry Diller’s IAC). As a founding partner, he helped build and scale a portfolio of 30 national and state park publications and later led the integration into the public company, creating a custom publishing division serving major California tourism organizations.

Mark later served as a strategic advisor and investor to Zoom Systems, an automated retail pioneer, (Apple and Sony in airport vending machines) helping secure over $60 million in venture funding and establish its first breakout partnership with Apple, resulting in over 500 airport and retail installations nationwide.

An active investor and advisor, Mark has guided numerous companies through rapid growth, recapitalization, and successful exits. Outside of work Mark is an avid fisherman, mountain biker and advocate for students focusing on entrepreneurship.
